The Canadian Women's Senior Golf Association (CWSGA) was founded by competitors from Quebec and Ontario to establish an annual tournament for veteran women golfers.
The mission was defined: to extract health, an equitable mind, and the joy of congenial companions from the game, prioritizing friendship over scores.
New Brunswick joined as a member branch, and since then, the National Tournament has rotated annually among Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.
Each branch now holds its own Field Days, and approximately 140 women participate in the annual National Tournament hosted by a different branch each year.
